Research subject:

My main research interests are proboscidean taxonomy, morphology, and evolution. Recently, I focused on dietary adaptations using stable isotopes and microwear analysis, as well as on histology of dental tissues. Over the past few years I studied small vertebrate evolution, stratigraphy, palaeoecology and taphonomy, too.

 

Research projects:

NKFIH FK 128741 – principal investigator – Developing a landmark based system for studying taxonomic and phylogenetic issues of vertebrates with various tooth morphologies.
